today i am blogging about gameshows. lingo, in particular. as many of you know, i am an avid watcher of the gameshow network. it just never gets old. whether you're laughing at the newlywed couples humiliating themselves along with carnie wilson, clapping along with the audience on family feud, yelling out meaningless words to the players of chain reaction, cringing at the stupidity of players that use all three life-lines on the $1,000 question on millionaire, or simply admiring howie mandel's bald head on deal or no deal...clearly there is never a dull moment on the gameshow network. but i think most of us would agree that there is no show on our beloved channel 161 that can trump the greatness of lingo. it's fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere keeps us on our toes. those five-letter words allow us to play along with the contestants. that "bingo" spin-off adds a splash of fun, and those ever-dreaded red lingo balls create that opposition that every good gameshow requires. but i must admit, (and i honestly believe this is true of most viewers), that the number one reason i love lingo sooo much is because of who hosts it: chuck woolery. he may be the best gameshow host known to man. at sixty-five, his locks are still flowing, his smile is still charming and his eyes are still sparkling. his "we'll be back with two and two right after this" is a favorite for all viewers, and his humorous pokes and jabs at the players keep us stifling giggles all night long. but we can't forget his gorgeous cohost, shandi. shandi finnessey. there is just so much i could say about that smiley shandi, but quite frankly, i think the name itself says it all. to chuck and shandi! and remember folks...it's not just letters. it's lingo!
today's fortune: be prepared to modify your plan. it'll be god for you!
